PAX: Let's start the last day of PAX with a little Halo 4 info.

And I mean a little. Today started off with the 343 panel to talk about the future of Halo and there's still a ton that they can't talk about. However, there were a few things that they were able to reveal and it's nice to hear any Halo related news about where the games are headed. Here's the highlights from the panel:

 - The next games will be a direct continuation following Halo 3. "It will deal with the fate of John and with the fate of Cortana."
 - The new trilogy of games will be referred to as the Reclaimer Trilogy.
 - A Reclaimer is an individual in the Halo universe who has been tasked with activating a Halo super-weapon.
 - We'll learn more about Master Chief (John)...duh.
 - The panel ended with a slideshow of some awesome art for the game.

That's about all we got from the Halo 4 panel at PAX, but honestly, the game is so far away it's nice to see anything that will wet our appetite even if just a little bit.

PAX: Just one more reason why Bioshock Infinite is going to be insanely awesome.

1UP had the chance to chat with Ken Levine today at PAX before the Bioshock Infinite panel. Levine is the top dog over at Irrational and he had some awesome stuff to say about creating an environment that reacts to how the player explores the world. I can't believe how complicated some of the stuff he talks about is, but it truly sounds like Irrational is pulling out all the stops with Infinite to make it a completely immersive experience that the player can really control. I can't wait to blast from platform to platform atop the floating "utopia" of Columbia.

PAX: Oh hello there final Gears 3 multiplayer map!

Gridlock is a place we've seen before in Gears 1 and 2 and we'll get to see it once again in Gears 3 featuring new weapons and a nighttime backdrop. That's really all the news about it. Look for Gears 3 on shelves September 9...oh man I just realized how close that is!

PAX: Get ready! Here's some gameplay from Counter Strike: Global Offensive!

Kotaku, an awesome site for any gaming news, has been given a sneak peek at what the Counter Strike team will be showing this weekend at PAX and at the upcoming Eurogamer Expo and it looks awesome. Not only do we get to see the first trailer showing gameplay but we got a bunch of new details about the game! Man does the gameplay look great to me. It totally looks like it will feel almost exactly like the old game did and even the new graphics look great, but hold the same style that we all loved in Counter Strike. Not to mention CROSS PLATFORM GAMING. Yup, it looks like those of us with Xbox 360's will be able to face off against you PS3 lovers! I'm getting excited. Here's some of the cool details we heard.

PAX: This weekend should be PAXed with cool stuff!

That was bad, using PAXed to replace packed. What is PAX you ask? Well PAX stands for the Penny Arcade Expo. Located in downtown Seattle, PAX is a three day event that features table top games, video games and all good things nerdy. It looks like every major game studio should have a presence at the expo so I'm hoping we get some cool reveals over the weekend. I'll do my best to stay on top of the best news!

Here's how the PAX Prime site describes the event:
PAX is a three-day game festival for tabletop, videogame, and PC gamers. We call it a festival because in addition to dedicated tournaments and freeplay areas we've got nerdcore concerts, panel discussions, the weekend-long Omegathon event, and an exhibitor hall filled with booths displaying the latest from top game publishers and developers. Even with all this amazing content the best part of PAX is hanging out with other people who know their shit when it comes to games.
