TELEVISION: The Legend continues...

So I must have been awol from the internet when the announcement that the sequel series to Avatar: The Last Airbender, The Legend of Korra would be airing on Nickelodeon on April 14th! Even more exciting, the show ran a special event through their Facebook page to give fans the chance to unlock an episode early! The goal was for the site to get 100,000 likes and the goal was reached so quickly, they decided to give us two episodes! Both can now be seen on Korranation.com! I haven't watched the episode yet since I'm waiting to watch it with a couple of my friends tomorrow night. The reviews so far have all been incredible and it sounds like Korra not only builds upon the world we came to love in The Last Airbender, but takes it to darker territory and improves on the formula. Needless to say, I'm pumped!

TELEVISION: The next last airbender!

Another trailer has come online for the sequel series to Avatar: The Last Airbender. Although this trailer is clearly aimed towards the younger demographic, what I've heard so far is that The Last Airbender: Legend of Korra is going to be more mature than the original series. Avatar is definitely my favorite cartoon ever made and it's one of my favorite shows, period. Still no word on when Legend of Korra will be released but the most recent news was that it was pushed back to 2013 :(. If you haven't watched the original series yet, I highly recommend it because you really don't know what you're missing.

TELEVISION: Seriously, my heart just fell into my stomach.

The Last Airbender: Legend of Korra has been delayed until 2013. Oh my goodness this makes me so incredibly sad, like literally sad. Although not confirmed by any writers of the show it sounds like it's true. Originally supposed to release in fall of this year, the show was already delayed once to summer of 2012...and now 2013. I'm gunna go crawl into a hole and be sad now...damn...

TELEVISION: Oh my goodness watch NickToons today

Because they're airing a 24 hour marathon of Avatar: The Last Airbender. If you've never watched the show I can't stress to you enough how awesome it is even though it's a cartoon. The follow up series The Legend of Korra is currently my most anticipated show of next year because it's also going to be unspeakably awesome. Anyways, if you're just hanging out on a lazy Sunday I highly recommend checking out some Avatar.
