TELEVISION: Modern Family gets a little Funke.

As in Tobias Funke, co-founder of Gobias Industries and Blue Man understudy. Collider is reporting that none other than David Cross, the actor behind Tobias Funke of Arrested Development, will be joining the cast of Modern Family as a recurring character. Although not too many details were released it sounds like Cross will be playing the role of a local congressman who enters some sort of ongoing conflict with Claire. If you've watched Arrested Development I don't need to tell you how hilarious Cross can be and I must say I am PUMPED that he is joining what is already one of my favorite comedies. Hoping for another great season from Modern Family! The third season kicks off on Wednesday, September 21st!
