MOVIES: Running out of puns using "The Help" for box office stories.

Whelp, I can't say any of us saw this coming. The first movie of the summer to take the number one spot at the box office three weekends in a row is none other than The Help. Although this is the slowest part of the summer and arguably one of the slowest times of the year as we get ready for the holiday season, to stay in the number one spot three weekends in a row is still mightily impressive. This weekend The Help pulled another $14.2 million to bring its astounding total box office draw to $118.6 million! In second place came The Debt, directed by John freaking Madden, yes the one you're thinking of. Debt pulled in $9.6 million. Trotting in at third place was the opening weekend for the "discovered footage" film Apollo 18 which, despite weak reviews, still grabbed a decent $8.7 million. In fourth we had the Oscar contender Shark Night 3D with $8.6 million and Apes managed to stay in the top 5 bringing in $7.8 million to bring its awesome box office total to a well earned $160 million!
