MOVIES: The Help doesn't need any!

This weekend is the first time Planet of the Apes won't be in first place since its release 3 weeks ago. I guess my ticket wasn't enough to propel it past the strong $20.5 million The Help pulled in on its second weekend in theaters making it the top movie at the box office. Apes followed Help posting $16.3 million to push its current box office total to an incredible $133.8 million. So the top two movies didn't even open this weekend...the next 3 did. Spy Kids 4 took in $12 million, Conan the Barbarian fought for $10 million and Fright Night rounded out the top 5 with a disappointing $8.3 million. I already saw Apes so I probably won't ever see any of the others on this list...maybe Fright Night....maybe not. Next week will see the opening of Guillermo Del Toro's Don't Be Afraid of the Dark which looks creepy but is only getting decent reviews so far and Paul Rudd in Our Idiot Brother which I think will be an excellent indie comedy. Who will come out on top?
