MOVIES: Peter Jackson continues to be awesome.

Good old Peter Jackson has released his fifth production video giving us some insight into the making of The Hobbit. This one comes right after the first official trailer for the movie was released which was completely incredible. I still am blown away that Jackson takes the time to make these videos simply to show the fans some inside looks at what he's working on. It's not like we would be upset if these videos were never made, he literally puts them together purely out of his love for Lord of the Rings and his fans. Pretty awesome.

MOVIES: Prepare to enter Middle Earth.

Via his Facebook Page, Peter Jackson has recently released his 4th entry in the blog series he is doing while shooting The Hobbit films. Each one has given a unique glance into the making of what are sure to be two of the most epic films any of us have ever seen. This entry focuses primarily on the cameras they use in order to shoot the movie at 48 frames per second and in 3D. The original trilogy was a completely intriguing experience that brought us into the realm of Middle Earth and that was without the incredible technology that exists for the filmmakers today. Seriously, each video blog that Jackson has released makes me even more excited for The Hobbit films which I honestly didn't think was possible! Not to mention each time I'm encouraged by how much Peter Jackson looks like his old self once more. As I've said before these blogs bring out his passion for the material and give us an inside look into all the hard work that is going in to bringing these incredible stories to life for all of us to enjoy! The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey hits the big screen December 14, 2012 and The Hobbit: There and Back Again will complete the tale December 13, 2013...I guarantee you that that year will feel like an eternity.

MOVIES: Peter Jackson is the coolest person alive.

Not only because he blessed us with the phenomenal Lord of the Rings trilogy and not because he's making The Hobbit into not only one but two films which are sure to be incredible. But because as he's working insanely hard on said Hobbit films, he is taking the time out of his busy schedule to provide us with inside looks at the cast and crew as they put these movies together. This video is the third one he has put out and I highly recommend watching all three. I cannot say how excited I am for these movies; and the passion that Peter Jackson shows in these videos is what will make the final product great...he loves the story he is bringing to life.
