VIDEO GAMES: They're here!

So the GBA games for #3DS Ambassadors are now available! I just started downloading mine and I can't wait to revisit some of my favorite GBA games as well as try some that I never got to experience. In case you forgot from the first patch of downloads for ambassadors here's how you do it.
 - Go to the e-shop.
 - Scroll all the way to the left and select "Settings"
 - Select your Downloads
 - Scroll down the list and the GBA games will be there with an option to "re-download" them.

They actually fixed it this time so it doesn't send you to the home screen after you download a game so the process goes much quicker. Enjoy :)

VIDEO GAMES: Woot!

At long last it looks like the full list of GBA games to be given to 3DS Ambassadors has been released. An official list was given out for Japan and the games are set to hit the systems there on December 16th! If we don't get it the same day here in the US it's likely to not be far behind. Also, this list is specified for only Japan so far but the odds of the games being different for US adopters is pretty dang slim. I think the list kicks butt and I can't wait to fire these up and get my 3DS rolling again!

So here's the complete list of GBA games for 3DS Ambassadors!
 - F-Zero: Maximum Velocity
 - Yoshi's Island: Super Mario Advance 3
 - The Legend of Zelda: The Minish Cap
 - Fire Emblem: The Sacred Stones
 - Kirby & The Amazing Mirror
 - Mario Kart Super Circuit
 - Mario vs. Donkey Kong
 - Metroid Fusion
 - Wario Land 4
 - WarioWare Inc: Mega Microgame$

VIDEO GAMES: The 3DS NES games are available for Ambassadors!

Yay! 10 free NES games for all those who registered their 3DS before August 12th! But they're actually not that easy to download so here's the steps to take.
 - Log into the e-shop.
 - Scroll all the way to the left and select the Settings/Other tab.
 - Scroll down and select Your Downloads.
 - In the midst of anything you've previously downloaded will be the NES titles.
 - Select re-download for the game you want (odd since we haven't downloaded them before).
 - Rinse and repeat for each individual game.

Ya it's kind of a pain but hey, they're free and Super Mario Bros. is still awesome. Enjoy!

VIDEO GAMES: Final NES games for 3DS Ambassadors

Today Nintendo finally released the final 5 NES games that 3DS ambassadors will be able to download directly to their systems. They include:

 - Wrecking Crew
 - Metroid
 - Yoshi
 - NES Open Tournament Golf
 - The Legend of Zelda II: The Adventure of Link

these in addition to the previously announced:

 - Super Mario Bros
 - The Legend of Zelda
 - Balloon Fight
 - Ice Climber
 - Donkey Kong Jr.

I think the list is mostly good but some of the games I guarantee I won't play for more than a few minutes. I'm hoping the last 5 GameBoy Advance games are a little better. ALSO, through the video program on the 3DS, Ambassadors can now get a downloadable certificate video which will give them updates regarding the Ambassador program. The NES games will be available on September 1st and the GBA games will come out sometime before the end of the year.

VIDEO GAMES: Are you registered as a 3DS Ambassador?

If you bought a 3DS before August 12th and logged on to the e-shop you should be registered to receive 20 free games starting September 1st. But if you want to make sure, Nintendo has launched a page where you can enter your 3DS' serial number and check your status.

Make sure you're good to go HERE!

VIDEO GAMES: Your last day EVER to buy a 3DS.

Well, that's not even a little bit true. But it is the last day ever if you want to buy one for the reduced price AND be eligible to be an Ambassador entitling you to 20 free downloadable games in the near future. So here's what you do; get to your nearest WalMart or Target and buy it for the tasty price of $169.99, then make sure you get on a wi-fi connection and connect to the 3DS e-shop. To do this, go to System Settings, then click Other Settings, all the way to the right in Other Settings you'll see an option to run a System Update...do that. Once your system is updated you'll have the e-shop available. Open it up and wham bam thank you mam...you're an ambassador. You have one day to decide.
