MOVIES: Real Steal

Wow, when I saw the first trailer for Real Steel I couldn't believe that someone was actually going to make THAT movie. Like someone came up with the idea for a movie about boxing robots and not only did Hollywood give it the green light, they got Hugh Jackman to be in it. I still have no interest in seeing Real Steel but apparently a lot of people do, $27.3 million worth of people in fact. Steel dominated the box office this weekend with no real contenders to face off against. Second place went to The Ides of March starring Ryan Gosling and George Clooney which took $10.4 million in its opening weekend. Dolphin Tale fell to third place after an incredible opening weekend and grabbed $9.2 million bringing its box office total to $49 million in two weeks. 50/50 came in at fourth place with $5.5 million and Courageous rounded out the top 5 at $4.6 million. 50/50 is the only one I'm really interested in and I'm going to try and get to it tonight. What did you watch this weekend?
