BOOKS: Apparently Barnes & Noble is taking business personally

Recently DC comics made a deal with Amazon to sell 100 graphic novels exclusively on the Kindle Fire. Barnes & Noble responded by removing all of the DC graphic novels from their store shelves. These include Watchmen, Sandman, etc. They later stated that they wouldn't sell a physical book in their store if they weren't also offered a chance to sell the digital form of the book. I think this is a bit of an overreaction by Barnes & Noble. People are already reading less and less so pulling books off of your shelves just because you didn't get digital rights seems a bit like the reaction of a 4 year old. If I can't have it, no one can!
