Hot on the heels of the brilliant minds behind The Amazing Spider-Man announcing a release date for the sequel almost 3 years away, a release date has been announced for Catching Fire the second book in The Hunger Games series. Although not quite 3 years away like Spider-Man, the release date for Catching Fire is slated for November 22, 2013. This is also not as far fetched since The Hunger Games doesn't even come out until March 23, 2012. I'm still not a big fan of release dates being announced this far in advance though, but oh well.
Also! Two new pictures from The Hunger Games have surfaced today on
their Facebook page. One shows Katniss in action I guess, looking at something important. The other shows Peeta posing for a photo shoot, or also looking at something important in the arena I guess. Actually they're not too exciting but hey, it's something.
